Fasten your seatbelts as the great race to discover the real meaning of the great nations is sought. In the book of Genesis, the angel of the Lord appears to Ishmael’s mother, Hagar, and tells her not to worry, that God is going to make Ishmael into a great nation. Over the centuries, wars have been fought between the Muslims and Christians, Jews and Christians, and Muslims and Jews. The tale of Apocrypha starts with one historical fact, that Mohammed the Prophet took refuge at Saint Catherine’s Monastery in the year 622 when the Quarysh warlord chased him out of Mecca and Medina for preaching blasphemy. A plaque hangs on the wall of the monastery to this day extending Mohammed’s protection to the monastery for the hospitality they showed him when he took refuge there. Over the centuries, wars have swept over the area but the monastery has been left alone. Legends have sprung up over the years as to what happened during these turbulent times when Mohammed took refuge there and if he left any other writings.
In Apocrypha, the search for the mythical lost writings takes on new meaning. Scott Chad, a tall rusty haired entrepreneur and mineralogical surveyor along with his partner Samuel Rogowski, a rough and tough computer expert are experienced at getting in and out of numerous scrapes and difficult situations. They are working on a small project in the desert outside of Cairo. Chad must hire a botanist to provide expert ecological data for the final survey report. While unknown to him, the Mosad (Israeli secret intelligence,) slips in their agent, the beautiful Julia Apostoli, to keep them informed.
A long lost apocryphal story tells a tale that during Mohammad's last night at the monastery he dictated a hidden writing to his scribe, Zayd ibn Thabit, who wrote it in secret code to be hidden from all eyes until the proper time appeared. Visitors to St Catherine's monastery can still see Mohammad's decree of protection hanging on the walls of the monastery today.

The bible says, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except through me!” In Apocrypha, the search for the lost writings becomes clear. The Law is needed to understand Grace.

Chad and his companions discover a lost chamber. Filling one wall of the chamber is a large geometric panel of Arabic writing-saying, 'Mohammad was here.' The rest of the chamber is empty. Taking measurements and photographs, they take them back to their camp. Chad cannot make sense of the geometric pattern. Backing up the data he stares at his computer screen as fatigue and worry wash over him. A look of wonder crosses his face, as he finally understands the code in the message. The look is short lived as terrorists burst into his tent holding Julia at knifepoint.
The attack on the camp starts a whirlwind quest to find the hidden writings. This quest takes Chad and his companions from Sinai to Greece and finally the fabled land of Cush as they are pursued by Islamic terrorists who want to control the lost writings and a group of Christian Pharisee's who want them hidden away.
Apocrypha, which simply means, hidden writings, has taken on new meaning in today's world and man's search for meaning.
The truth is that the Bible is about relationships and how only God can fill them and, of course, no sane man could have ever invented Christianity!

It should be noted that Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are far more alike than the other religions of the world such as Hinduism, Buddhism, etc. They are monotheistic religions based on the revealed word of God the Creator. Unfortunately they are at odds with each other, even though they all worship the same Creator.
Apocrypha tells a tale of how each of these faiths came to develop their roots and how they are cousins to each other. Cousins that mark their genealogy back to the time of Abraham.
The main difference between Christianity, as we know it today and and other religions is that God came to man instead of man trying to work his way to God.
